yea, but since the interior isn't fully wrapped in leather and wood, the Europeans will continue to look down on it to justify their german and italian cars.

Not that GM really cares what they think about the camaro. Unfortunately, the US doesn't really know anything about this track enough to care about the ZL1's time.

It would be interesting to see the ring time of the base ZL1 with the m6. This would give us a better comparison of how much the dampers and aero package played a role in the time. Now we can only speculate how much of that 13 seconds difference resulted from the 1LE package and how much from the transmission.

It's not going to match the ZL1 1LE in track times. I do believe the GT500 will have more power then the Hellcats and maybe a little more suspension tweaks for the extra power. All the pics of the upcoming GT500 doesn't show any aero enhancements like the ZL1 1LE did and I am sure they are not going to be using MultiMatics DSSV shocks.

If there is a GT500 I would expect a base GT500 and a Track Pack or R model, much like the 350

Love it that the 1LE can do so well, but honestly it hasn't beaten the new GT3 at 7:12 and for me that means, i may as well enjoy the regular ZL1 .. there will always be a faster car....now the GT3 was PDK and i would bet the GT3 Manual would not beat the ZL1-1LE or be dead heat...

That said, i can't wait to get some ZL1-1LE comments on ride and everyday liveability when they start getting delivered...
