So they actually ran an even faster lap, just not on the official clocks.

Well you Camaro boys have something to hang your hat on here for sure. That was an amazing run and that level of performance at the price point is "F"ing unbelievable. I want one BAD!!!! Hopefully it's in the cards in the next year.

If they weren't so stupidly gung ho on this idea that the Z28 needs to be NA, the ZL1 1LE should have just been named the Z28. That's what that RPO should entail, a pkg of Zl1 and 1le and some appearance mods exclusive to the Z28. Done. Z28 still the fastest performance option.

The letter arrangement is a little more pleasing to the eye, but it's still an unfortunate model combination that has probably the worst tongue-twister pronunciation in Camaro history.

Z/1LE I would suggest as a short-cut moniker for this car. Use the slash if needed as a replacement for the Z/28...

...But something's got to give with this long-winded ZL1 1LE name...lol...It's even almost impossible to type without making an error....lol...

Exactly, it appears the 1LE is 2.9% faster on the track (the ring) but 3.5% slower than the stock ZL1 A10 in the quarter (11.8 vs 11.4). So, choose the one that fulfills your expectations. Both are iconic.

That said, I'm not sure you'd notice the 3% advantage either has in most consumers hands.
