I was wondering what was causing that strange feeling, if I barely tap it or hold my foot over it for the next shift it immediately cuts throttle. That and the skip shift message popping up definitely have to be the two biggest annoyances.

FWIW it seems the skip shift message is counter intuitive; i mean the car is telling you that you need more rpms to go into 2nd gear.
at the point that the message comes on, there doesnt seem to be enough rpms for the car to run in 4th gear anyway...... in the end it is one of the annoyances that saved from paying a gas guzzler tax on the car. |
