I took my car in last weekend for this and the recall check. They tried to give me the "Oh, the Android Auto isn't showing up so it's not under warranty and therefor not free bullshit". I got heated pretty quick about it and let them know that it's a feature that the car should have shipped with, but didn't and that it's a simple software upgrade and showed them the damn info straight off the Chevy page about it. They got their ish together and I got my AA update. Lol. Recall check came back clean, I got my AA update and I pray I don't have to visit the dealership anytime soon. Oh, but AA with my phone(Note4) plays at like half volume. I have to crank the stereo up to literally max volume to get decent music while using AA....so I don't even use it. I did a little research about the issue and it is a known problem. I'm not sure if it's a phone software or car software issue though.

Most of those problems that are phone specific are the phone manufacturers issues. AA is standardized, so it if the issue was their or myLink it would happen for every phone. Though some could be AA app itself on the phone.

Finally got my AA update applied.... they said installed fine, but upon testing the techs android phone, it not showing up on screen.
