Seen plenty of videos about the subject but does it work with the 2018 Mylink?


I have a 2018 Colorado and ZL1 and can't for the life of me get a video to play off of a USB while in Park. Pretty much followed all the rules of format, size, resolution etc. with no luck. Can't even get the file to show up on the screen, just says no content available.


Is there anyone getting this to work on the 18's via USB and if so how and what stick you using? Not looking for any hack to watch while driving, just want the option while in park.

Will require a reflash of your computer. Have to remove it and send it out to have it done. Beyond that, not sure. I thought it was supposed to be able to be done with certain formats and sizes without the reflash, but I never could get it to work, so I just sent it out

USB video only works on 2016 models. Chevy blocked it starting 2017.

What is incorrect? I have read several posts that it was discontinued on the 2017+ models. I have a 2017 and definitely does not work.
Lethal Weapon has a 2016 and USB Video works.

It will not work on 2017 Radio. If you think different please provide proof.

Correct there was only one platform where this was missed and it wasn't camaro. Gen5DIY can sell you an HMI unlock that will allow all of this including video in motion, front cam etc.
