How are you accessing the performance timer? I can find "timer" but not the performance timer listing 0-60

The 1LT only has a stopwatch. It doesn't have a 0-60 timer.

False.

It's on the 1LT as it's on mine. You have to enable it.

That's GREAT news. This is one of those times I love being wrong. Now the question is...how?

I'll make sure to check out how its done because it is a little different on the 1LT. It's in the enable options screen like how you check/uncheck the information you want to see when scrolling through the DIC.

The dash thing doesn't seem that accurate to me. It comes across as more of a gimmick to me.

Best I have gotten on the dash was a 6.4 (I have the 2.0) after several attempts on different days. I just went ahead and disabled the 0-60 counter myself.

Logging in hp tuners I can actually launch the car and start time when the car starts moving. I got back to back 6.035, changed a part on the car and it dropped to 5.886

I think if you have the 20"wheels this my slow you down also because they are heavier.

Not sure how the dash can be a gimmick but the hp tuners logging isn't. They're both using the same data. One just starts the timer on pedal movement and the other on what it considers vehicle movement. Either way, they're both guestimates since their mph values are not measured / calculated based on the actual position of the vehicle.

I found the 0 to 60 timer on my base model 1LT. I clicked the "left" arrow and saw something called edit. I clicked on that and saw something about pages. I clicked the "right" arrow and there was a list of all of my items from the "info" with boxes by them that could be checked or unchecked. I unchecked my stopwatch and checked the 0 to 60 timer. I also unclicked "trip B" because I never use it. Now as soon as I get another hundred miles so my car is broken in I will try this little feature out.

This is true, but to get a good 0-60 on the 2.0, you have to load it up and launch it. I feel the dash is hardly accurate and not worth using if it starts counting as soon as you touch the throttle but before the car starts moving. They are both estimates, but I feel my results in HPtuners based on movement are more accurate, vs losing .5 second on the method the dash uses.

Just my opinion.

This is true for the V6 as well I get the same time on the dash 0-60 by launching at 2500 rpm as I do when I start at 0 rpm but with the dash it starts as soon as your RPM move.. so by getting the same time with both methods I'm actually quicker then what it's recording.
