I haven't encountered the Mustang mistake yet. Though I amazingly did have a kid about 10yrs old walking around a carshow last weekend with his mom get all excited seeing my car. He was like "Wow mom, that's a ZL1" She said "I think that's a Camaro son". He looked at her funny and replied "A ZL1 is the best kind of Camaro mom" �� She looked at me and asked "is he right? I smile and responded with "Absolutely"

I get a lot of compliments on the car, frankly. A surprising amount from ladies my age (mid-20s to early 30s) and a TON from women my parents age (60s +).

Not a Camaro story but when I had my coyote Mustang i parked next to a lady in a Benz Suv and on start up her young daughter said “Whoa mom, is that a Lamborghini?” Made my day....
