Just saw an initial assessment of the I-65 crash: hydroplaning car set off chain reaction. There will be an NTSB report. Maybe preliminary soon, but probably a year for the final.

Why do some drivers not understand that as soon as you ford water higher than the alternator, your car's gonna stall.

In this case these cars will suck water and hydrolock before the alternator is drowned. If i cant see the curb im not driving my car thru it. Much less a truck.

We have had hefty rain almost everyday for almost 10 days down here. My yard somehow has zero puddles, and I haven't seen any flooding.

Crap, I don't even like driving in the rain! GM does test these pretty hard though. At 1:20 you can see the water test trough at Milford. It is like 9 inches at 45 mph or so.
