A moment of weakness
So I saw a used c7 fo sale and figured for the same amount, I could be in a stingray. Test drove it, but as it was a 1LT, all i could think about is what i would be missing out on if I canceled my order. It drove and looked great, but base cars look underwhelming and this one surely did. Couldnt reach an agreement anyways so I drove home thinking I'm glad I ordered a gen6 and Im sorry for straying from the path

I can very much understand this. Ive been eyeballing the C7 from day 1. But even used, an Automatic, Z51, 2LT car is too high. I can get al kinds if cool new stuff in a Camaro for at least $10k less.

I'm looking to buy next June, and I suspect I'll have a tough decision to make. Slightly used 2LT C7 Z51 (manuals for '14, either for '15) vs 2SS 'vert A8 MRC NPP could likely be close (in MSRP). I think what will land me in the seat of the SS will be supplier pricing / USAA cash. A $50k MSRP SS will cost 47.5k-ish, where a $50k-53k 2LT used C7 will cost $50k-53k. We'll see. I know my Wifey just smiled when I said "Well I could end up in a slightly used Corvette instead..." She loves the new design, and can drive a stick very well.

My moment of weakness ended when I realized I can't fit in the damn car. My back and shoulders are way to broad for the seats.
