I considered cherry tintcoat as it is a very beautiful color, but I ordered Red Hot so it would look close to my 79 Z-28. That and they stopped offering Hyper Blue... I love my Hyper Blue. I wish they still offered Lemans Blue (1969.)

Yours will look fantastic, too, Red Hot's a great color. No such thing as an ugly ZL1 no matter what, anyway. My first car was a used '73 Camaro in whatever they called the bright red at the time. I graduated from HS in '79 in a town dominated by a GM stamping plant so I had multiple friends who had new Z28s and Trans Ams. Beautiful cars, but I sure couldn't afford one back then. I envy you having one in the stable.

Thanks! I graduated in 1977, so in 1979, I was a crusty E-4 in the Army, so I bought that new 79 Z-28...and I kept it!
