Anyone have any insight into potential rebates on '19 Camaro coming this Spring?

Forget the 19's, how about the 20's?

By spring, the majority of the leftover '19's are going to be the ones people didn't want. My suggestion is do it now, dealers need to get rid of them, they are a liability in terms of flooring expense. |

I got my best ever deal back on my '15 1SS/1LE in February. Dealers are gonna want to move any remaining '19 stock.

Here in Canada. the 2018 MFG rebates ended January 15th 2019 and the 2019 year no longer shows any rebates on the Canadian Chevy website. I don't know if the dealers get hidden rebates for old stock but I wouldn't expect to see any new rebates on 2019's.

I do alot of inventory searching and dealerships really have been stingy with lowering prices. Atleast on the 2ss 1le trims anyways.

Here is the deal. I ordered a ZLE 10 speed last Spring. Went to pick it up and my wife flipped out. Our situation is...………..complicated. The dealer still has it in the showroom. So the car I want is there. When I ordered it, I told them this might be an issue, but they were cool ordering it in. The other thing is I spend a lot of money with them, so there are not any hard feelings. They would kick the car to me at a great deal (I better not share how good, but good). However if they rebate the '19's by say 20% I think I could get this done. My wife has no issue on how many HD's I buy, since I can write them off or depreciate them. The Camaro is another matter. I was hoping someone would have some insight as to what rebates may be coming. I want that car in the worse way, just a matter of whether I want it bad enough to have to give her half of it later.

20% off MSRP at this time of year doesn't sound unreasonable. Put an offer on the table and walk away. It may take a month or two but just stick to your price and they'll likely eventually come back to you.

I just bought a 2SS about 2 weeks ago, Chev had a $6500 rebate/incentive on the 2019's for this part of Canada, and then dealers were also knocking of a few grand on the advertised price.
Seems the $6500 off inventive isn't offered from just taking a quick look however a few dealers I spoke with are listing a pretty similar price with just a dealer discount. Not much discounted on 2020's which is no surprise. |

Call them up today, it's the last 2 days of the month. Depending on where their volume numbers are sitting, they may need to make the deal, in order to get their bonus money from GM. However, I would talk it over with the wife first because if her lawyer is better than yours, she may just get the whole Camaro... |
