Currently running the Michelins and they aren't cutting it, what's next?

I have 750whp and the R888R is the absolute best street tire you are going to find. Period. The GY do not get enough heat in them on the street to stick with stock power, let alone 800. Unless you are planning to use them on track, dont bother with them on the street. Ive gone through 2 sets and they are absolutely useless for street temps. Period.

Hows the handling with them? And are they as loud as I'm reading?

They handle great. For both street temps and even track temps. However on track they fall off sooner than the GY and this is where the GY finally shine.

As for the noise, yes they make a lot of road noise... but my car makes more noise so it doesn’t bother me

Bought Nitto NT01 for my ZL1 1LE and we hate them. Will never do them again. Horrible sounding (louder than my Raptor with 35s) and horribly slow on the track. 4 seconds slower than the 3Rs the car comes with. Stick with the 3 or 3R that was designed for the car.

Someone on the forum did a 345/30/19 R888R. Said they worked perfect. Can’t imagine needing much more tire for the street.

Yep, and they are worth it. I have r888rs 325/30/20s on mine. Found a deal for $415 each and had them price matched by discount. They hook great. There is an increase in noise but doesn’t bother me one bit. Doubtful they will will last longer than a year but then again only drive about 400 miles a month so maybe 6000 miles with about 4 trips a year to the drag strip. I’ll be getting drag radials soon with rear 17x10s so I think they’ll last a bit more than that.
