Very nice ride, you will love it!

I think I recognize your 4th gen from LS1tech, were you on that forum often?

If you haven't had your new ZL1 on a road course yet your missing out by not doing so. Get a track alignment on the stock car and hit the track. It's an absolute monster in stock form and extremely addictive.
That is me yes... OutlawZ on LS1tech for a great many number of years. I had a few battles with Tony Shepherd for the fastest LT1 in the country for a few years. I lifted a ring land on one of the pistons and then I started my divorce..

Yeah I intend to take my car to Sonoma raceway on their road course first.... Can't wait

And thanks for the kudos man!!! To everyone!

Funny you mention fastest LT1s in the country. A good friend of mine I believe had that title for a bit. His name was Dave Diluca. He had a red 94 Z28 and later on painted it blue. Your car reminded me of his before he sold it off to somebody from Texas I believe.
Mind you, we are in Canada not the US. But at the time it ran I believe 9.11 @156. Fast for the time and am pretty sure it held the title a couple years.

Yeah he did... Quite a few years as nobody had decided to turbo their shit yet..... Late Model Engines did a single turbo LT1 when they first opened and it went like 8.2x but they couldn't keep bearings in it..

Me and TOny both went low 9's on spray. I went 9.06@153 and lifted a ring land.. He went with bigger heads and more spray and went into the 8.80s. I just needed weight reduction and I would have been there with him.. But i ended up getting divorced and that ended that shit quick....

Yep I got to see and help build many engines with him. He was one my best friends. When they gave him 24 hours he asked that myself and another close friend come to see him. He died of Hepatitis. He contracted it when our government stopped testing blood in the mid 1980s. He had a blood transfusion and that’s how he got the hepatitis.
I can only imagine what my ZLE would be like if he were still alive. I’m sure it’d be far from stock😂😂😂
I hear you about divorces too. I lost one of my Z28s in a divorce.
RIP Dave.
Thanks Outlaw. Good to reminisce sometimes. They were good years when he was alive.

Yeah man he was a pioneer of the LT1 car and I learned alot from how he had setup his motor and shit..... I was able to really learn alot from their setups as to what was making power and what wasn't....

RIP Man!!! He'd be happy where we all ended up getting that tiny little reverse cooled motor.... I'm gonna make contact with Tony Shepherd soon... I'm not sure what he's doing but my divorce and the vacuum and custody battle for my kids took it out of me... I still ****ed with cars but my finances were in no condition to really support a car habit.... NOw that i'm good to go i want to reconnect with Tony and shoot the shit...

Let him try and get some of my ZL1 1LE....
