rear facing toddler child seat pictures in 6th gen?
Im looking at picking up a ZLE but I need a year that I can get a rear facing car seat in it to keep the wife happy for small family trips....not a daily. Curious if anyone has done it, and has a picture or two they could share.

I don't think rear facing will work with a front passenger.

I have my convertible seat forward facing with no issues (w/ a pass up front). If this is a serious question happy to turn mine around and try. My bet is you can put it rear facing but at the expense of an unusable front seat.

I have a front facing in mine and it is a bit tight for the front passenger. More of not squishing my daughters feet. Rear facing might be really tight depending in the size of it.

If the front passenger was a chihuahua you're golden. Otherwise there is zero chance you can get a person in the front seat and a rear facing seat behind that person. Not properly installed anyway.

A forward facing car seat will work in the rear, but a rear facing will have too much interference with the passenger seat unless it is at 90 deg and into the dash.
I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old that ride in the back seat in boosters now. The 4 year old crosses his legs with my seat in the normal driving position. It works for a 15 minute trip.

Hardest part is getting the KID in the seat - no space to move around, get buckles and belts situated.
Take car seat to dealer and try it out. The LATCH anchors are there. Pair of recaro car seats are in back seat of mine! Front facing type. Had convertible car seat in previous car that was rear facing - without that side access, hard to get kid in there. I guess you can slide one seat forward to get yourself back there. Probably something you can get away with on Sunday.. but you would HATE it doing it every day - power seats are SLOW compared to just kicking manual adjust seat forward in less than second.

I wrote this for another member via PM, but thought I'd share.
I recommend that you go to a dealership and see if it is acceptable. Rear passenger space is not a high point of the Camaro and will be very different from a four-door car. I take my kids to Cars and Coffee. They love it. You will have a sports car that can actually brake and turn. I have a crew cab truck and my wife has an extended Expedition, so I normally don't cram the the fam into the Camaro (family of 6). Situations: 1. [GOOD] Me + 3 Kids to Cars and Coffee (Ages 9, 7, 4): 9 Year old is comfortable in the front seat in a fairly forward position, 7 year-old in a booster is comfortable behind the 9. 4-year-old is ok in a booster behind, but is sitting cross legged because my seat is all the way back nearly. I could drive in an abnormal driving position 2-4" forward. 2. [Not so Good] Me + 3 of my older kids (12,9,7). I have to ride in the abnormal driving position. 9 and 7 kid have to swap positions on the way there and back. 3. [Not so Good] Me + Adult + 2 kids, doesn't really happen since I have 4 kids. Both Adults and both kids would be uncomfortable for a trip beyond 30 minutes. 4. [Really not good] 3 Adults, Passenger will be up in the dash and back seat adult will have head touching the roof if taller than 5' 6". 5. [Unacceptable] 4 Adults, Really won't work unless they are really short. Factors: 1. If the kids are out of boosters, then it is better. The boosters raise their knees and move them forward in the seat, which contacts the back of the front seat. 2. Your height and of your passengers. I'm average at 5' 9" and drive in a regular position. The shorter you are the better, but shorter drivers will also have more visibility issues.

^^^ Badmojo nailed it perfectly with this one. We have recently eased from category #1 to #2, and it's still good, kids are happy, love the sound (no, not the Bose audio) and the speed.
Best case scenario is 1 or 2 adults, obviously, which I'd think any coupe is really designed for (I know no grown man or woman who would feel good about climbing onto the back seat via the front door, regardless of legroom).

Sorry, little late on the reply, but I used a rear facing car seat with my son and wife. Little tight but the hardest part was getting him in! The picture is hard to see but it was taken over a year ago.

That does not look comfortable for the passenger at all!
