I think the metal shavings they are talking about might be from the porting. But i am sure kong did a top notch job and everything was flushed and cleaned.
Kong is one of the best around for sure .

Great numbers and build OP! Just about what we see with our 800-850hp packages as well. These cars are amazing all around .

Driving impressions:

There is some mild cam shake when stopped. I don't mind this at all! Evokes memories of the bygone big block era without the fuel smell and headaches! If you prefer to go unnoticed, this is not the package for you. At stoplights, people tend to look and not look away!

The car runs 10-15 degrees cooler than stock. And this was in 5PM rush hour bumper to bumper traffic.

NO DRONE! NONE! Not one bit of drone. And driving responsibly, it is not unreasonably loud. With the windows up you can converse at a conversation level within the car.

When driven irresponsibly, it is RIDICULOUSLY loud!! But this requires aggressive mashing the throttle.
This mornings temperature was in the 50s. Flooring the car at 55mph had the tires breaking loose and the TC diligently working well into the 80s. My car still tracked straight and true while spinning the tires and creating a fog bank behind me.

The stock Goodyear tires are not a good choice for an 800+ rwtq car. So I will have to get a more appropriate tire very soon. Thinking of the Toyo R888.

Is this from the Meth and Cordes tank or did you do other cooling Mods?

I have one. Perhaps calling it a catch can is not accurate. But the PCV hoses from my supercharger are plumbed into a something on the front passenger side of the supercharger that drains back to the engine.

Meth cools the IAT1s. The Cordes tank cools the IAT2s.

The reduced engine temp is from the AMP thermostat housing that allows for a conventional LS3 low temp (160*) thermostat.

In the tune, do they have the fans coming in early as well? It gets hot and humid most of the year in Tampa and i am having a hard time deciding how i want to mod it for temps. I was thinking of the Weapon X coolers and/or chiller as one option.

Definitely! If the fan temps are not adjusted you won't see much of a gain from the low temp t-stat.

I considered the Weapon X reservoir too. I liked the subfloor installation but the Cordes tank has a metal lid.

Any quarter mile times since this car was dynoed? Think I saw it at Ennis for a roll event a month or two ago.

Absolutely AWESOME car. GREAT COLOR AMP just posted on their facebook some performance numbers with a YELLOW ZL1 that has approximately that same HP and she did a world record stock blower 9.45 the other day at ENNIS in track testing. I am sure this car is a BLAST!!!!

Wow, very impressive set up. If only I lived in a non-emissions testing state.
