I heard rumors of the 2022 Camaro getting the Rapid Blue color from the C8 Corvette. Figures this would happen now since this is my favorite color and my SS is currently on order. Anyway, I had to see what a Rapid Blue Camaro would look like, so here's a little photoshop job:

When did you place your order? What color did you end up going with? This color was discussed awhile back...

If you complain enough to the dealership they might be able to change the order if it's not already painted or in transit. Worst case scenario you can negotiate another one.

I went with Shock, literally placed the order 10 days ago and last I checked it was waiting for an allocation spot. Guess I can make changes still?

True but I wanted to see how it would look without the ugly decals all over. Looks much nicer when clean.

The order was put in 10 days ago and a week ago it was waiting for allocation. Think I can still make the change to wait for a 2022?

Called the dealer ASAP and tell them you changed your mind.

No hurry to change the order. Won't be built for months. Color change should be easy.

With no dealers in my area with allocation and the plant shut down I've resigned to go with a 2022 and really leaning toward Rapid Blue if we don't see a new bright green as well.
It's very likely your dealer won't get any allocation until 2022 orders open so definitely call em.

I would disagree because this gives a better look at it without the pace car decals.

If my 21 Riverside get's pushed out so far with the Processor fiasco that it becomes a 22 model, I'll change it to Rapid Blue.
