LineLock used at staging lane.

Does anyone use their line lock to held the car back and preload the suspension on a manual tranny car? I spoke to a company about that and they said he didn't recommend it, I do have a Lingenfelter 2 step on the car with a lingenfelter CAPT for 2 step activation. He said the way he instructs people to hook up that it automatically turns off the 2 step. Thx in advance!!

Not gonna lie, I have given some thought to trying it. Maybe I will at the next track rental but not with 100's of spectators watching, lol.

I use my line lock and 2step once staged. This keeps the car from rocking or creeping and lets me get consistency.

I have everything on a 3 position switch.
1 - line lock only
2 - 2step only
3 - line lock and 2step

I use the e-brake in my car. I actually have my 2-step wired into the e-brake so it engages at 1 click but I hold it up while I pre-load the car then drop the e-brake simultaneously with the clutch. Works well for me and many others.

I've played around with it. It seems to work, but it was difficult for me not to bog. Disclaimer, I'm cammed with stock gearing so I'm prone to bogging anyhoo. Need more practice, but my local track hasn't had very many events with all that is going on these days.
Seems like integrating with a 2-step like others said above would be a good plan.
