Anyone else here remember these factory releases, sent to the dealer when your car was being built? And who still has their early 5th Generation Camaro? Mine was off the assembly line on 8/4/09. Exciting times here when we were the first owners on the road drawing stares and thumbs up wherever we went.

Yours rolled off the line on 8/4/09?! Mine rolled off on 8/3/09! Too cool!

I remember those. Also that website where you could track your car on the railcars after it shipped from the factory. Mine was built on 06-19-09 and I took delivery 11 years ago this weekend. Those were fun days.

My yellow front frame vin sticker is dated 8/3/09 but it was actually completed and off the line on 8/4/09. Vin 132351.
I would of had it earlier but insisted on waiting for the delayed Summit White with the IO interior.

Mine is 131897. My front sub frame sticker is July 31, 2009, but she originally rolled off the line on August 3, 2009. I bought mine used, but it's 831 of the 3,903 ABM's. One of the guys in the aqua blue metallic group I'm in is number 14 ABM and number 3 of the SS ABM's. So far the lowest VIN one we've found was 000175.

My Camaro may be a 2011, but I'm still getting stares and thumbs up. Just keep it clean and polished and it will look new. Time cannot diminish a classic design done right.
