Hop on over to the Mustang Forums. I'm sure they'll blow that ego up even more than it is now. I kid, I kid. Nope, never driven it, nor do I care too. It would be a down grade for me.

I haven't, but I think I would've loved it.
That high-revving V8 sounded glorious.

Let's try not to be fan boys (;
If you had the opportunity to drive one, you would. I'd like to drive one, it's a cool car. I'll be interested to see if anyone on this forum has driven one.

Seeing Randy Probst say good things about the Camaro SS after driving it back to back against an M4 in the Motor Trend test was what got me interested in gen6 Camaros.
Look for the video of him driving the GT-350...he is giddy like a schoolboy! |

I saw a gt-350 in that battleship grey color when cross shopping cars a month ago. If I had the opportunity to drive one I would in a heartbeat. That engine is something else and by the reviews it's nothing like the mustangs gt

Same here. Randy liked pretty much everything about that car except for the steering. Quote:
I had an S2000, a VW R32, a C6 Z51, etc. I'm drawn to vehicles with significant engineering/performance and GT350 is definitely one of them. I would've probably steered towards the GT350 if I had more $$ for down payment.

I thought it would be more unbiased here , vs mustang forums ... I just hear so many raves I wanted to know what it was like ? Not being able to reve after first gear as a daily driver is what makes me wonder ?

Interestingly enough - it was the pre-cursor the GT500 that got me here in a way....
I was looking for something with more hot rod attitude to replace a 328i convertible. So started by looking at 335is and M3 convertibles, then expanded into looking potentially at a M6 or a Jag XK / XKR trying to keep budget in the mid $30K's max. Then I thought - hey, should at least look at the Mustangs so added the 07-09 GT500 to the mix - found several with under 10K miles in that price range. Seemed like pretty good cars but never drove one. Then for some reason I decided to check out new Mustang and Camaro 2016 left-overs to see if there were any good deals on verts. And I ran across my hyperblue 1SS 6MT and jumped in it for basically the same price point I was looking at for a 6-7 year old GT500 or M3/6/335is. all of a sudden it became of those complete no-brainer decisions and I was in. Now I'm here |

In all honesty, the GT350 is a killer car. Looks killer and can handle the track, no sweat.
BUT,...they are a lot of owners that are complaining about the rear bumper drooping and some had had engine failures/troubles. |
