Cowl Induction Hood?
I'm really considering getting this hood for my camaro, im curious, will it help keep the engine compartment cool? - as I'm reading it seems they're primarily used for air intake that's set on top of the engines, however mines not set up that way of course, but I'm looking into it, as I said, to keep the engine compartment cooler.
any help/info is greatly appreciated - thanks. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...ngSS/hood1.jpg

If you don't get it then I will if they still have it. I like the design of that hood.
It does have vents so shouldn't air be able to flow into the engine compartment to cool or aspirate it? Btw, who makes those hoods? I want one for mine.

cooling effects wont really be noticable. and by that, I mean it might help cool the engine down by a degree or two. its a great looking hood. thats the style I wanted to run on the '86

I have that hood. I'd be more than happy to help answer any questions you may have on the hood. :-)
