New brakes what's the problem?

I just recently had my brakes changed at the dealership and I've gone over 800 miles and they still are squeaking terribly what do I need to do to fix this ...it's kinda embarrassing.

WhitePhantomSS,

I'm sorry to hear about your brakes squeaking. I understand how displeasing this would be and realize you're seeking opinions about it. However, if you'd like to consider getting an official GM diagnosis, please message me privately as I can reach out to the dealer's Customer Experience Managers (CEM) for additional assistance. If you'd like to contact us privately, we'd be happy to discuss this with you further.

My bet is he didn't even do a bed in procedure which is most likely why he is having this issue.

Do your calipers have the wheel weights on them? Some early models had the loud brake issues due to the calipers.

Go back to the dealership....

You more tan likely overpaid to have them do your brakes in the first place. Dealerships always over charge.....Have them fit the issue.

Yes you need to transfer some pad material to your new rotors so they don't squeal.

1)3-4 stops from 25-30 mph in row.

2) Drive for 10- 15 minutes allowing your brakes to cool.

3) 3-4 stops from 40 -50 mph in a row

4) repeat #2

5) 2-3 stops from 60mph

6) repeat #2

7) Your done drive home and let them cool.

This has always worked for me.
