IAC or EGR Valve?...

87 5.7L V8 camaro:

Just wondering which itd be per the issues I'm having...any help is appreciated!, I believe it to be the IAC but friend says it's the EGR.

problems: rare, but occasional rough idle at stop lights. (idle fluctuates)
car dies when switching from Drive to Reverse (completely dies, have to redraft car afterward)
idle while in reverse is VERY rough. (car vibrates hard)

yesterday the idle was at about 1k rpm after a 1 hour drive..normally it's about 6-700 when the engine is warmed up/been driven.

Check for vac leaks also...poss carbon fouling of egr...it gets stuck and holds egr open and then blows through..they have gaskets with screens to help stop the carbon fouling

the harsh vib can be caused by mounts and the torque rod bushins on the drivshaft...
