Seibon Carbon Fiber Components Are Here!

Finally the carbon fiber parts (hood, trunk, fenders, doors, sideskirts, front and rear bumper components) that were seen on the Grunewald Camaro drift car and Seibon show car at SEMA are available.

Pictures of the Grunewald Camaro can be seen here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50930

Pictures of the Seibon show car can be seen here:

Here are pictures of all the components on Seibon's website: http://www.seiboncarbon.com/test2/core/home.php

I wonder how much weight can be saved if you put the doors, fenders, hood and trunklid all carbon fiber. Seibon has them all!

I really want the rear trunk but had very bad luck in the past with fiberglass/carbon hoods and other body parts for other cars I have had. I just wonder how much prep work it takes to make it a flawless fitting part. They should have a cheaper fiberglass version for guys who want to color code it to the car.

Trunk with built in wing ROCKs because all the aftermarket wings look decent but not from every angle. I think by having the seamless Siebon approach it just looks cleaner.

I agree about the wing it looks way better without the line separating the body from the wing itself. As for fitting I don't know it does say on the website parts may require minor adjustments but for the most part fit pretty well. I think RKsport has a glass hood available but I'm not sure. also another style glass hood is on Indpower's website I think. MikesSS I think the weight for these parts are on Seibon's website I think the fenders are like 2g's each haha thats mad light, your stated combination would make one bad smoke machine,
with suspension mods I bet a carbon Camaro would launch like one bad mother though.

Is there a fiberglass version of that trunk lid with the molded in spoiler? I really like that but don't need CF cuz I would want to paint it to match my car.
