I am pretty sure this will have to be cut out and a new piece welded in due to this is one piece up to the door and front fender.

The fender Flares are still available through gm in primer, at about $300 each plus shipping.
The big dented piece is called the “quarter panel”. |

Don’t change the quarter panel. From what I can see, it is easily repairable and is a major job to change!

Seems to me if replacement parts are becoming "hard to come by"; just a minor accident will really diminish the value of the limited production Z. Yikes....

Looks like they have it. I can't even imagine the cost to ship it to Germany. Your's looks reparable by any good body repair shop. The fender flare is damaged and needs replacement I think. I didn't look closely at the bumper cover or lower peice they might also be reparable.

I agree, don't try to replace the "uniside assembly" that's a massive job and yours is definitely repairable.

Thank you, Pat. According to the workshop the quarter panel is repairable like you all wrote. And the lower cover does not need to be replaced. But for that I probably have to replace the wheel hub together with the wheel bearing. |
