ACS side rocker question

For those that have the the ACS ZL1 side rockers: how good is the “1LE black” color match to the GM color on the 1LE? I’m thinking of getting them and have only seen pictures. I know pictures don’t always tell the whole story.

Thanks

Based upon my purchase of the ACS rock guards ordered in "1LE Satin Black," the match to the factory components is quite good. The overall paint quality/finish, however, was disappointing (especially for the cost of these items). I requested a replacement set of rock guards, and the quality/finish of the second set was also disappointing. Both sets appeared to be spray painted and had minor imperfections in the finish upon close examination. I would recommend ordering the rockers unpainted.

Well that’s unfortunate. Thank you.

I've got the 1LE Black side rockers and I'd say they're a 95%-100% match. They look fantastic. It's a durable finish too, as I've whacked the driver side rocker with my foot a couple of times and it hasn't marred.

I got them primered and paid the local body shop to paint and install, overall cost was about the same as buying them painted from ACS.

Similar experience with the GM gloss black 1LE style splitter. Costs an arm and a leg, but unlike many aftermarket ones, it actually has a bottom, is very well made, easy to install, fits and matches the rear valance perfectly. I even hit a cone with it once at low speed and not even did the clearcoat scratch.

In my experience, unfortunately there is nothing like OEM when it comes to body parts.

Looks like a pretty good match to me. Paint work is good and no flaws on the one rocker I unwrapped. Excuse the car, it is a little dirty.

Will definitely follow up with more pictures. Just a warning, it could be a little bit based on everything that is going on.
