Do you see what I see?

Lately, as he days go by in this new muscle car age...I've been seeing quite a bit more older muscle cars...how about you?...
specifically (and forgive me for being ignorant to this fact) I've seen 2 old muscle cars of which taillights are kinda like the cell phone "bars", like AT&T has "more bars in more places"...
as well as a bit more old camaros, and recently - a household a cpl blocks from me restored a couple of old 2nd gen Camaros...one of which looks really nice so far..the other still needs a paint job (looks nice regardless)
I've seen a couple Mavericks, and quite a few others I can't place...like the ones I've been seeing that have the flip around headlights.
Again sorry about my ignorance in the whole "Name That Muscle Car" category.
but lets hear whatcha have to say

It's like hunting season around here.
Once the weather lifts in March-April; I see them all pop out. Camaros, Chevelles, Mustangs, Chargers, Impalas, but mostly Corvettes. It really is fun to see them all!

Sadly, once winter comes again in november, they all get stowed again.

I've noticed more in recent years, but I don't think there has actually been many more. I just have a sharper eye and a more knowledgeable mind now

hit the nail on the head...

its called SUMMER. lol

unfortunately too many of those beautiful cars go into storage 80% of the year. i understand the reasoning behind it, but come on... these are muscle cars for crimaney's sake. DRIVE THEM!

I saw probably two dozen corvettes of all dates and models today on a half-hour drive in Spokane... checked online and I guess a local corvette club is doing some kind of event.

It was a little surreal to drive up Division in my V6 and pass like six corvettes, in a row, out of the blue.

Yea from now until the end of sept there is a Corvette event going on every weekend here in washinton state lol.

But you guys want to go see some real Muscle cars, Some that you never ever thought you will see? Go hit Reno During Hot August nights. Its normally the first week of August (some time the last week of July/first week of August) But its 5500 Cars 72 & older. All American & European cars No ricers, Except for those on the back side of the casinos, trying to have fun reving their engines at the big blocks, then the big blocks rev back lol you cant hear after that.

This years event is the 2nd through the 10th. Reg for the show was last may & next years show is already full. But its also a great time just to go walk around. Summit racing always does an event at their Sparks place & through out the reno area. they also offer 10% off of all parts if you order while you are down there. that kind of stuff is kewl. Nothing but cars for a week.
