Exhaust Valves? (Supercharged LT1)
Greetings!
Restarting on our LT1 build for my SS 1LE with LT4 blower. I'm considering new exhaust valves on the OEM LT1 heads. I've already received the Ti LT4 intake valves...to reduce chances of valve float (@ ~6900 rpm). Combination is mild 700 CHP build for extended street runs and some circuits. Manleys? REV's? New OEM? Thanks!

What can be done about the seats? I understand they have a habit of falling out per TS.

Well, if you really want the world's best/fastest racing valves and seats, contact my son's company here https://www.mwracing.eu/en/mw-racing/
Yes, they are expensive for most of us, but not for Ferrari et al.

Inconel. Can have the seats reworked on your stock heads.

Appreciate the comments.
Our HP goal is quite conservative and likely inconel would be wasted on our build. We would like fresh exhaust valves and curious what aftermarket offers as a suitable replacement or a step up within reasonable cost. Possibly leaning toward OEM's or this Manley set: https://gwatneyperformance.com/produ...1-lt4-12349-8/ Thanks.

I made 850 plus on my Magnuson 16 SS Camaro with stock heads, stock valves, I did have a valve job done after I broke the stock Lt1 motor, only because we did new springs and Cam. I would have liked to have had a better set of heads but didn't really think it was necessary at my power level. Back to the question, I've run Manley on many of my motors in the past, I also ran Manley Forged internals except the crank in the 1st built motor. Yes there was another. haha

OEM valves will do the job at that power level.
If you want to upgrade we stock Ferrea Super Alloy exhaust valves. There is no reason to buy a heavy SS exhaust if it isn't Inconel. |

Agree with Mike, stock valves will handle a lot of power. Its the other parts of the valve train that are more important. Valve springs, proper seat pressure and a good machine shop that will take the time to set it up for you after the valve job or you engine builder.

I agree...I said Inconel thinking OP wanted the best after reading the first few posts. Certainly isn't needed for a mild build and there are several mid level options that will work fine along with OEM.

OP sprung for titanium intake valves but inconel exhaust is going to break the bank?!?
