Navigation Standard with 8" screen?

Hey guys I am in Canada and are thinking about getting an 1LT as my first car ever! Have been playing with the build&price in Chevrolet.com and couldn't find a place to add "navigation" as an option. Does it comes with the 8 inch screen?

Navigation is not standard with any trim levels... Its an additional cost of $495 at least in US... The online configurator is still buggy.. doesnt let you add many things yet... Best thing is to ask here at forum ...

You will need to get the 2lt for it to show up as an option

To be clear, per the order guide navigation is not available on the 1lt trim.

I believe the standard non-NAV 8" screen can let you use your newer smartphone NAV wirelessly directly on the 8" screen though.

What I truly am curious is... what in the world are the pro's of having a Navi besides maybe having built in navi = onstar adding a destination directly (which is great lol, first time onstar user and i think it is pretty niche)? I am feeling a little bit of buyers remorse ONLY for adding the Navi, 495 could've been saved, MAYBE. Apple car play/android auto is freakin awesome

I got the $495 option for the nav. Didn't know at the time about all of the uses of apple car play, etc... That it could be used for navigation and what not. I could've put that $495 toward the NPP exhaust option for my 2LT V6.

Both 7" and 8" screen have Apple/Android play,no need for the navi. Had navi in 3 of my last cars and I always end up pulling my phone out(google maps). My current car wont even let me or the passenger type addresses while the car is moving(even at 1mph). Done buying nav systems.

Apple Car Play (Android version coming soon too) + plus 8" screen + any navigation app you want. No point in getting the factory navigation, plus the apps update their maps much more often...

Nav is for people with windows, blackberry, or flip phones.

Turk,
Have you had a chance to use the factory nav ($495 option) yet?
OR did you not get it and instead use the apple car play?

I know when it came out on the new 2014 chevy impala, the nav. system took FOREVER!! to process information. Still used the 3G network.
