As a chassis engineer, I can tell you that it is highly unlikely anything major would be damaged from this impact. Considering that these cars come with 20" rims on low profile tires and minimal suspension travel, the suspension needs to be tough as hell to pass requirements. I wish I could show you some of the tests I've put cars through... I've broken wheels off, and then we beefed up the broken components

There's a chance you could have a bent tie-rod, and your toe might need adjustment, but your LCAs, knuckles, struts, etc. should all be fine. Good luck with the insurance. Sorry about the trouble... I'd be so pissed.

Also, interesting how strongly that side-marker overlay is hanging on there... Would've thought that would swipe right off!

Your car is beautiful BTW

I've had great results with Blackfire products.

In the past 48 hours i swapped my no-spoiler LT trunk lid for a SS spoiler trunk lid, added a LT badge to my steering wheel, and got my windows tinted LOVE how it's shaped up this week!

Invested in a Torq DA polisher from Chemical Guys. First clay bar the car, then applied CG's V38 polish with the machine. Next comes Blackfire Total Polish and Seal with the DA polisher. Finished with Blackfire Crystal Seal. Sounds like a lot, but it goes by quickly. When you apply the Crystal Seal at the end you'll understand why you spent the time polishing. Gives real depth to the finish.
Hope that helps.
best regards,
Dave

Didn't you have any left over holes from your last spoiler? Or you had no spoiler before

My Camaro came without a spoiler. I swapped the trunk lid with an SS owner that doesn't like the SS spoiler, so he can have a "blank" trunk lid to install any spoiler he wants without issue. Win-win for everyone!

Absolutely! This forum is amazing. Posted the request not actually thinking someone would respond and in less than a week someone did! Now he can install any spoiler he wants without worrying about exposed holes or having to patch it, and I saved a lot of $$$ haha

I let the combination of the Total Polish and Seal and the Crystal Seal do it's thing.
