Has anyone listened to the 2SS/2LT speakers yet?

There have been a ton of test drives done now, has anyone listened to or reviewed the upgraded audio systems in the 2016 camaro yet?

None of the Camaro, but I've heard the Stingray (Bose 10-speaker) and the SS that they had on display at the reveal event (Bose 9-speaker) and they were surprisingly good. Not quite the best I've ever heard, but the treble was slightly better than the current Boston Acoustics. The bass though... It was good, but the Boston Acoustics sub in the 5th gen is pretty damn good, and tough to beat in my opinion.

Edit: I should mention, they had the SS on display specifically at the Bose tent and were demoing songs inside to let people hear it.

The Speakers are amazing, hands down the best audio package I have ever had on a a new car. I was blasting some rock at close to max volume and it sounded super clear. I listen to a wide variety of music and across the board it all sounded very good. I have a 2SS which come standard with the bose(I think).

Looking for someone who has an ear for music to post up what setting they have the bass, mid and treble set at. Sounds decent at the default setting.

I've posted previously.

The system was a bit surprising. It sounded quite good at the find new roads event. I checked the eq and even set flat there was a lot of bass. My initial impression is that the bass was somewhat bloated.... I'd likely drop the bass level 1 or 2.

I'd still say that a sub would be good to give the proper thump.

Sound quality was good and volume was substantial for a factory system. Definitely a stock system that can be lived with without requiring any changes.

If you checked the other threads you'll see that the system will be easily upgraded. The Bose amp and the battery are in the trunk.

I am very impressed with the overall sound quality of the premium sound 9-speaker Bose system. I've only had the car a day BUT I've been blasting the stereo and it just sounds AWESOME!!
AND this is without me doing any tinkering to the system, yet, like adjusting any bass levels, etc, etc, etc....

I was pretty pleased with the system in the 2SS. My girlfriend has a '15 with the premium audio at its much, much better.

The upgrade system in the c6 camaro is FAR better than the current vette upgrade audio, imo.

I have the upgraded Bose system. Nice sound, and very clear.

It's not bad, slightly better than the BA system in Gen5.
What I don't like is the center speaker.
It makes the stereo separation muddy.
It sounds like mono coming from center of car.
(I'm exaggerating, but I am a little anal).
I may need to deactivate that speaker..lol

Slightly better. I think it's 120% better. The Boston speakers in my 14 sounded horrible at higher volumes and with any music bass heavy.

I picked up my 2ss today and for people who don't usually upgrade their speakers this may be the best factory sound system you've ever heard. BUT to the people who want high quality I hear the amp or the speakers boosting the mid range and completely lacking in the high range. You'll also want a separate sub woofer to clear up the "muddy" sound but in general the bass is ok. Also if you get down to this level, you'll want some dynamat or whatever you use in the door panels. I was able to hear a little rattle. To the people who aren't big on audio, this post isn't trashing the stock speakers its just letting people know whats missing for the next level.
