Who doesn't make 305/30/19?

I see the Goodyear 3R in stock on Tirerack.com

3R are available everywhere in 305/30/19.

Do you mean Hoosiers or something like that? Yes Hoosiers don’t come in 305/30/19, but you should be running GY 3R, they grip = or better than Hoosiers and last much longer, and cost much less. Hoosiers maybe better for one session, but I don’t think so… equal at best.

3R are the best track tires in the world right now short of new Pirelli DH slicks that cost $600-700 each

Also, 315 in any tire are a tight fit and will probably rub liners in tight turns and eventually destroy them

Whats the reason you want to run that tire?

And why do you want a 200 treadware tire?

For track use don’t waste your money on those, they are not in same league as 3R. That is a fast street tire that would be good in auto cross at best, but not my top choice for that either

3R was designed by engineers specifically for ZL1 so ON TRACK it handles the unique characteristics like weight and weight distribution better than any other tire in world

I've had great lap times with Pirelli DH take-offs in those sizes. I could not afford to buy them new, but some good take-offs treated with Hot Lap Victory Lane are great for 1-2 days before you need to re-treat them.

And then they're good for 1-2 more days. And done after that in my experience, so then I use them on street for awhile and then maybe burn them up drifting at Willow Springs skidpad before tossing them.

Pirelli DH will do equal or slightly better lap times than 3R for 1 day, and heat up faster. But the 3R last more heat cycles and keep giving grip and fast laps until the fronts cord.

Victory lane works great and I’ve never really went faster on them than the 3R however I’m running more economically on track days and love the feel of the car with the lighter 18’s and tires.

Do 18’s provide the best squared set up?

I found that I could sometimes (not always) throw down a 1 sec faster lap one session to the next switching from 3R to fresh DH takeoffs on my signature forged 18s. Might also have to do with significantly lighter 18" Signatures, and lighter DH.

They are both great tires but have a different feel, when the DHs are right they stick like glue right away on a warm day, and the 3R has amazing grip after 2 laps but feels different.

In my garage I have a great set of DH, 2 sets of good condition 3R and some good 19" A7 waiting for events Sept-Nov when it cools down some. I'll try to document the differences.
