Never had a mice problem. But then I never eat in my Camaros or transport food of any kind in them.

That is noble but may not be enough, the car has lots of chewable, soft and even some soy based materials that can attract rodents without you leaving food scraps behind.

One thing I know for sure is that you can reduce your odds of having rodents taking up residence in your car by not leaving food odors and scraps in your car. Keeping it clean helps. Also not just letting it sit there. I take mine out at least once a month.

I'm with you 100%, my car still looks brand new inside after 4 years and even has a tiny bit of the new car smell left. No eating whatsoever or drinking anything but water or coffee from a thermos, and that's it, whoever doesn't like it doesn't ride in it.

All I wanted to say is unfortunately those nasty creatures are very creative, especially with cars stored outdoors. BTW we have 2 cats as well, they would certainly take care of a mice issue.

GM is making the insulation for the wires out of oatmeal cookie dough. Recommend putting a electronic deterrent in your garage. They do work. But may have some sensitivity to pets, use caution around pets and anyone with neurological disorders.

Two weeks ago I kept smelling that "Dead rat" smell outside my car. I kept thinking there was a dead rat near where the car was parked. Eventually, I realized it was somewhere in the vehicle. I left the car with my local mechanic who had to disassemble a panel in the engine bay on top of the left wheel well where this ginormous dead/decomposing rat had crawled up and died. Turns out my super had put out poison in the garage. Such is city life. Cost me 100 bucks and I tipped his assistant $20 who had to remove and clean out the crime scene. Years ago on my 07 slow as shit Mustang GT had wires chewed by rodents. Sucks

No food in my Camaro either, yet mice are a problem because the engine is warm and the sound deadening makes for great nests.

If you live at the edge of the woods, mice are a recurring problem that neds to be addressed.

Yes.I live in the woods ,have mice not rats.A cup of moth balls under my car keeps them away.
