Same, but I'm partial to the 14-15 (especially 1LE). There's a part of me that wants to do a max effort N/A build on a 5th gen and keep my '23 bone stock and preserve it as a last of the breed kind of thing. My wallet doesn't feel the same

We'd hope they spent that much because they enjoy the car and think it's a cool design. Why should they need to accept someone else's opinion of their car, and why would someone feel a need to put others' cars down?

LOL! Maybe agree to disagree. The C8s are badass. Been around enough of them in the track environment to realize the Chevrolet engineers did thier homework. The new Z06 is just plain badass ×2!
