I agree mostly but don't care and to each his own.
I'm 60 years old with a medical weed card and don't relish getting pulled over out of state. We moved from Rockford, IL and know Wisconsin cops love to pull over IL drivers. If you travel out of state, NB and KS come to mind for me as I cross them a lot, you're also a more likely target. Especially with COLORADO tags, home of legal WEED. I'm good friends with a IL State Police motor officer, so I have some insight. Most troopers will think nice car and let it go. A small percent will see it as a reason start something. He said the hardest car to get a lock on is a black Vet with no front tag. It can piss them off so they pull you over. My buddy said that he's done it if he's having a bad day or he thinks the car was going at least 15 over. And, it's not always if you run with the plate, it's how you display it. For instance, in NB it's illegal to use plate frames up front. Little things like that. The same goes for window tint. Before I get mine done I'll check the laws for KS and NB. The car comes with a certain amount of tint built in, if you install the legal limit, say 35%, you are over. I was pulled over in Illinois and given a warning years and years ago. Now all that said, if I didn't have a medical weed card and Colorado plates I might not run the front plate. And, the chances of getting pulled over for window tint is very slight. The car will do 100 mhp in the blink of an eye, for me it's about reducing the risk.

I used the factory mount, no holes, it clamps to the grill, on and off easily if needed, but here where I live, it is on. Too expensive in this area. |

Idk, it's never bothered me down here. And I kind of like the brushed silver accents here and there.

RPI side skirts in satin black (to match SS1LE front splitter). Great, price super fast shipping, easy install. About an hour and only because it’s the first time jacking up my Camaro and watched a Lethal Garage video to amp sure I did it right.

Very simple. I bought the harnesses from ******** that make it easy to tap in to speaker wires from the BOSE amp output. They also send the harness that cancels the interior microphones that are supposed to get rid of exterior sounds. The wiring harness for the sub has to be connected to the front speaker wires from the new ******** wiring harness, positive from the battery and a ground. It does not require any special instruments or gadgets. When you turn the car on, the sub comes on automatically from the speaker inputs. When you turn the car off, it turns off. No need to connect a "remote on" wire. I used velcro and it stuck very well to the carpet. It could go anywhere and I will probably move it at some point. I just wanted to get it installed so I could see if I wanted to keep it. Will definitely keep it!

Well, more importantly, how well do they match the 1LE front splitter and spoiler? I like the style a lot but if they don't match almost perfectly, I know it will bug me enough to make it not worth the purchase. |

The side skirts look good, but I feel like I'd constantly be kicking them or accidentally stepping on them

Finally replaced the cabin air filter. After 4 years and 52K miles, I was a little late. Took less than 10 minutes. I watched one of the videos that has been posted on the forum.
