Would it be a good ides to buy tires made in 2015??? GYF F1 supercars on tire rack (2015s) are $731 for all 4 tires. Seems like a good deal to me.

How long does your tires last? 1 or 2 seasons? Than it’s not a big deal although the tires are already 4 years old as long as they were stored properly.

Sorry, I haven't read the whole thread yet, but has anyone run the Michelin Pilot A/S 3 plus's?

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger.

(I'm wanting the best performing all season tire for when it snows)

Goodyear F1 Asymmetrical on SS1

I’ve had excellent handling and tread life on the factory Goodyears. My driving is is pretty commuter style. Currently I just turned 29k on them. I’ll be replacing them with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. The reason I’m not replacing with the Goodyears boils down to cost. Unfortunately the Michelins aren’t run flats.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

I am loving the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s so far. Amazing in the dry, amazing in the heavy rain, huge change from the stock A/S. Would recommend.

Also just lol'd at how old the topic is, ohh well I know I went through some of these threads when I was buying miene.

I put a set of FF indy500's on my focus st twice. They worked good with the 32 mm rear sway bar . Replaced the all season run flats on my Camaro at 28k miles with general g max rs.A fun lively tire.Transformed the driving experience .

Just ordered a set of Continental Control Contact sport SRS 275/35/20s from Discount tire, they said they are better than the GMax ive had on for almost 30k, ill update after they come in and ride for few weeks, The site shows backordered but some stores still had and were able to ship to my location

Going from run flats to non run flats is not an apples to apples comparison. Take those opinions with a grain of salt.

Was considering upgrading the stock SS tires. My question is what tire size would everyone recommend? Do you suggest sticking with stock size or going a little wider? I have the Carbon Flash stock wheels which I believe are 9.5”wide? Thanks for any suggestions.

If you are staying with the stock SS wheel sizes (20x8.5 front and 20x9.5 rear), then you should really stick with the stock tire sizes of 245/40ZR20 front and 275/35ZR20 rear. Going wider on the same wheels isn't going to gain you performance. If you want more grip, and depending on your uses and climate, we might be able to suggest a couple tire options that might be better than the OE tires.

I’m looking at possibly going with MPS4 (A/S) or Continental DWS06 +

I think the dwso6 is top rated on tire rack. Msquared is very right about wheel and tire size.
