SS 1LE vs your dream GM car
For years now ive told myself, if they were to ever bring back the Chevelle SS with an LS7 engine, with 335s out back in a 6 speed, weighing about 3500-3700 lbs, i would drop whatever car i owned and buy one immediately. On a couple occasions walking to my 1LE in a parking lot ive thought, that this car really is a close match to my dream car, the only underwhelming thing is the power in my opinion - which of course can be altered
So have at it, what would be your dream GM car? And how close does our cars come to that

I think a 2900lb SS 1LE with 100 more HP would be perfect. I loved driving my E46 m3 at #3000 but love driving the camaro around a track even more. Mix of those two,

I've owned a '08 C6. '06 GTO. Always loved Chevelles/GM "A" bodies. And now own a '18 1LE.

I don't think I'm enough of a "brand whore" to have a GM dream car. They make some great cars, some that I'd want for nostalgia, some good trucks (but not dreamworthy) and a bunch of junk (to me).
Eventually I wouldn't mind having an older 60s muscle car from GM, and I want an 89 TTA some day, maybe a GN or T-Type.

A 3400lb 500hp/500tq 1LE with 50/50 weight distribution
But a true dream car would be a NISMO GTR

I have to say though with a simple ZL1 1LE solid rear cradle bushing upgrade, I LOVE my 1LE, it is solid and amazing. The only weak spot in stock form is the little bit of side to side sway from the rear-end. The solid cradle bushings totally got rid of that. Handling wise, I think the SS 1LE is right up there with the GT3 RS. The things that I care about that the GT3 RS would have over the SS 1LE are the lighter weight, the name plate, the quality increase, the 9K redline, and the PDK While I may never be in a position to actually get a GT3 RS, I am VERY happy with the SS 1LE over the 2016 M3 I had. I went from a car that was sub-par and over paying for it, to a car that hits above its weight class and got it for half the price of the M3. A win/win

I guess my dream GM car would be a Buick Wildcat II. But make it close in size to a Pontiac Solstice. And a high reving I6 with individual throttle bodies.

Dream car- Aston Martin DBS or M720s. As for the 1LE, you'd call me crazy, but give me some sort of a 4 door version of it (increase everyday practicality) and A10.

Well...
My dream cars include a 1969 Hemi Roadrunner, a 1959 El Camino or any one of many classic Corvettes. But the reality is my dream car is already in my garage. The SS is the maybe perfect blend of power, handling and styling.
