"Beware" scammer "Richard Contreras"

Not even sure if this is the individuals correct name, has been working the 2010-2015 5th Gen Camaro group on Facebook. Just scammed one member out of $900.00 for wheels. Also was trying to sell Gen6 Recaro seats that was a scam. The gent that just got ripped off had numerous texts messages from the individual who is going by the name of Richard Contreras out of Las Cruces NM. Once he received the money the buyer was blocked no further contact.

The telephone number (951-472-3841) comes back to Moreno Valley California, just SE of Riverside. The provider for that number is "Bandwidth.com" that has an army of scammers using their telephone numbers.

I went on the 2010-2015 5th Gen Camaro group and actually made contact with the individual, however he soon blocked me too.

I would not be surprised if he tries to hit this Forum also.

Be very careful who you deal with. I have been extremely fortunate and have had only OUTSTANDING dealings with members of our Forum.

Doing well my friend and praying the same for you and the family. I started this post believing this individual will attempt to scam some of our members as he has done on the Camaro Facebook page. I sent him a couple PM on Facebook and he actually responded, of course once I called him out he became extremely foul mouthed and blocked me as he has everyone else.

He's scammed members on Facebook for two sets of wheels and I believe one set of seats.

This is the one! I am sure he now knows he is a "wanted" crook and has cancelled his Facebook page. I don't know if this is a stolen identity or he is stupid enough to use is own picture?

No, he's stupid enough... most are.

Looks like an active account still to me. Just very locked down.
