I’m seriously thinking as a well several others that camarobarb and 152LTROCKIN/power to love, are all one in the same. In reading some of the old rockin threads there’s sooo many similarities.

Well, let's face it, one of the cons by the critics back when our beloved Camaro5 came out, was the tight space. I actually LOVE it. It give me a secure racecar feel when I go pick up the milk and eggs.

I think he sorta-kinda admitted to it once. Not outright, but enough where it wasn't a denial. Like a 'wink wink' thing. If him, his behavior is substantially better this time around, believe it or not. Some people just have that personality that can grate others and it comes out even more so online, where you can't express context or get a great judgement of personality or character. He don't bother me at all though. Not as CamaroBarb at least. Storytellers and know-it-alls don't bother me nearly as much as outright assholes. Luckily we are short on the latter here for now.

Everyone loves the performance of the 6th gen and it wins most comparo's.

But they always hack on the ergonomics,tight fit,outward visibility and bland styling.

Other than that it kicks butt

A lot of sales are killed by the dealerships.

They always want to rip off people and putting $20k-$30k markups on special cars, etc.

Example:

I went one time when the economic collapse was going on and GM was going to start laying off.

My Mom needed a truck and we wanted to help the autoworkers by buying a Chevy, so we went to the local (at the time it was Tom Bannon Chevy in TN) and worked out a great deal with the salesman on a base Chevy 1500.

When we went to sit down with the finance dept, they had added a ton of crap to the loan agreement doubling the payment we had already agreed on. We told them we didn't want any of the crap they added and wanted the payment we worked out with the salesman and they treated us like garbage and acted like we had to take what they offered, so we got up and left.

I've had instances where the salesman were crooks, too.

But dealerships are their own worst enemy and hurt sales / autoworkers because people have to walk away from buying a new car or truck to avoid being ripped off or price gouged in special cars.
