Mileage Range Variation

Hello,
I'm new to the Camaro world. Loving it so far. Just have some observations. I have a 2012 2ss auto and when I fill up, the display sometimes read 285, 290, or 310 miles till empty. Odd that its not consistent. I do not top off. Is this normal? Also, It stops counting down after it hits 32 miles left. My other two cars count down to zero. Thanks in advance..

It changes depending on your driving habits prior to filling up. I never go below 1/4 tank so I have no idea about the 32 mile limit.

Millage will vary depending on your average. So if you've been taking it easy it'll give you a higher number because your miles per gallon went up. If you start tramping on it, it'll go down. Mine always stops at 50km and says fuel request. so about your 32mi mark.

The remaining mileage is estimated on the previous MPG you've gotten and how full the tank. If you do a lot of interstate mileage between fill ups, you MPG will most likely be higher in comparison to what it would be if most of driving was in the city. As the average MPG will variy between every fill up, the estimated total mileage remaining will also vary.
