Car audio swaps
I have a 2012 2SS with the factory radio. How big of a project would it be to swap to a newer deck? Thanks in advance!! Any pics are appreciated.

You'll have to swap with a dash kit...Metra and scoshe are the more popular kits. Ask in the radio electric section

FYI you can add the factory Mylink and even Nav at gen5diy.com
Since you don't have Mylink, I do think there is some cutting/splicing involved. I already had Mylink and added Nav... so it was plug and play. Then you can always upgrade your amp, add a sub. |

Is it even worth the cost to 'upgrade' to MyLink?

I think it's worth it. If you want headaches go with the Metra or Scosche. There's also a way to making the OEM HU sound bad ass. So if you have the $ then by all means get one.
