I have been running stock except the Whipple including the calibration provide by Whipple with the kit for 2,000 miles now. I am using the HP Tuners unit to data log anything that I want to track. If you got the complete kit it will come with the HP Tuners. If you are using the supplied calibration from Whipple it is pretty conservative so not much reason buy a separate gauge to monitor it for day to day driving. Only time data log mine is if I do a 1/4 mile run or some full throttle pulls. If you want to monitor AFR you will need to buy a wideband other than that HP Tuners will track everything else.

I second steelheadrob, I would also throw in the beefier LS crank seal GM part # 12585673. I got mine from Jannetty.

I recently installed a Whipple, upgraded to LS3 front seal and threw on a catch can and pretty happy so far. I just installed a P3 gauge with Whipple tune, reading boost through the obd 2 connection, bought the analog sensor might not need it, I would think analog sensor would be a better choice but I am no expert. That was supposed to be it for performance upgrades this year... Well change of plans, working with Jannety Racing to upgrade to E85 and custom tune. Speed Demon is not satisfied. Don't know why I need 600+ horsepower to drive to work every day, but hell there isn't a reason I don't need that much power to drive to work.
