Thumbs up 2016 Camaro Front License Plate Bracket (NO HOLES TO DRILL) @ Phastek Performance

NOW AVAILABLE!!

Sto N Sho Detachable Front License Plate Bracket!!

The STO N SHO aftermarket detachable front license plate bracket mounting system is manufactured in the USA using quality materials and parts. The front and base plates are precision laser cut and hand burnished. Each tube and rod is machine cut and hand cleaned. Each STO N SHO aftermarket detachable front license plate bracket mounting system is expertly hand welded and drilled. After it’s assembled the base plate welds are ground smooth. The bracket then receives a coat of high quality automotive trim black paint. The final step in the process is to install the pull pin and test the product. While the bracket may look simple in appearance, a lot of time and work goes into making each STO N SHO aftermarket detachable front license plate bracket mounting system to ensure you receive a quality product.

Features:
  • Requires only the pull of a spring loaded pull pin
  • Remaining base plate is virtually undetectable
  • Constructed of 5052 and 6061 aluminum
  • Welded and painted trim black
  • Frame sits about 1/4" off of front bumper.
  • Built to last and comes with a limited life time warranty
  • NO CUTTING OR DRILLING REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION
  • Fits ALL Models (1LT, 2LT, RS, & SS)

are those factory screw holes holding the bracket on or do you need to drill into the bottom of the bumper?

According to the installation instructions it uses the factory bumper holes.

I just might have to get this for my car. Law in Oregon requires a front plate. I'd just run without and if I park downtown put the plate on to avoid the ticket from a meter maid.

This looks way better than the factory one! I'm in Texas so I may have to order one soon. I hate feeling nervous every time I see a cop

YES, the factory bolts are used to install the kit.

Not a bad idea, I know here in Texas they require a front plate. Wish they didnt, I dont have one on my daily anyways.

This pic is not from up top like you asked but it is what they had. The bracket sits about 1/4" off the bumper.

That works, thanks for the picture! I'm going to order one really soon. I like how quickly it can be removed with the spring loaded pull pin, that's awesome!

Quick question,

How snug are those prongs into the holes?
Does it rattle during driving? Or the spring loaded pin prevents rattle?

Tushar,

The prongs sit pretty snug. They do not rattle and the pin will hold it in place pretty well.
