I've been forced to fourth several times. Hate it.

The message will stay on the DIC a little longer than it will force you to 4th. I have also noticed that if you just hover over 4th and then pull it back to 2nd, it will let you. If you were really getting at the throttle, it will not force it to 4th. Since it is doing it mainly at low speeds, the extra second to let it think your going to 4th and then come back to 2nd isn't too bad. It is a pain in slow traffic and city cornering.

I'm buying my CAGS eliminator harness before I get the car, so I can install it the day I bring the car home. I may even ask if the service department will let me use one of their racks so I can install it right there. Doubt it but it never hurts to ask.

Same here. Saw the message a few times, but went into second without any difficulty. Maybe I hesitated long enough for the message to go away? Not used to it so there was a short delay from when the message came up then shifting to second.

Sometimes the message will appear and it allows me into 2nd no problem, other times it locks out and i'm forced into gear. Would love to know if you can use the same skip shift eliminator from the previous years on the 2016 so I can use it immediately! Do not understand why it is not an option that you can turn off. |

here who've not been born undernearh a car: Maybe I'll succeed incorporating the Vette fuse into our M6's That'd be nice! Why let the Vette boys be the only ones to take the easy way out? My butt didn't feel comfortable in that overblown Camaro anyway, now we GOT OUR OWN! Thanks again for making me think twice, Jeff (Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) |

Can anyone tell me which CAGS eliminator to buy for Gen6? I contacted a few sellers on Ebay, (don't know how to contact seller on Amazon) but all of them says it WON'T work with Gen6, so I still don't the solution.

Good news, we tested our skip shiftier and it worked like its meant to do, this will not remove the massage on the DIC, but does stop the lock out of 2nd and 3rd.
