Cam job recommendations
Hi everyone,
Currently running a minor bolt on with ethanol build and I'm looking into possibly doing a cam. Not sure where to really start with it but TSP has my eye at the moment with their cam/head kits. I'm not dead set on doing heads quite yet, a cam is somewhere I want to start. I'm in the northern California area and not sure if anyone has experience in the area, but some recommendations are certainly welcome. And for a basic cam job, what does the price usually run on these LT1s? I've emailed a few local shops but have yet to get a response. I have a tuner in the bay, so that's covered. Thanks for the help I appreciate it! |

Do the heads at the same time. They stock heads are going to come off anyway to replace lifters. No sense in doing the cam and not the heads.
