Removing the door to body harness
I had to figure out how to remove these so I could add some wires for my Interior Spectrum lighting dark night. The black boot has a clip at the top you push down on once you pull the boot away from the car a little bit. Once you push down the boot will pull away and rotate down to pull off of the connector. Yes there was a red lock you have to pull down. Once that is out of the way you can rotate the lock upward to release the door connector from the body connector.

Thanks for this, really helpful on routing wires through. I tried without unplugging and gave up but your post saved me
