For sure, with a 285/305 setup, they would have to be. I am assuming the widths are like the 5th Gen.

“With a curb weight under 3,500 pounds, excellent front-to-rear weight balance and the precision of the FE3 suspension, the Camaro LT 1LE offers unmatched capability in its class,” said Oppenheiser. “As a result, it offers incredible performance for Camaro V-6 customers.”
That V6 is going to be a fun car to throw around the corners. There is even some rumblings that the 2.0 is going to get the option too. That would put it at 3,400 or even less. That would be a blast around a track.

This is exciting news indeed!

The only concern I foresee is that I don't run cars on the track without a full complement of safety equipment, so I hope that the Recaros have a slot under the thighs allowing a five- or six-point harness to be installed.

Well, the 5th Gen site is still up so have at it.

This package is much better then the gt350 TP and that is $6500. So if it stays under that, that is a win.

It looks like it does support the upgraded accent lightning.

Somewhat disappointed the Recaros are standard. Sadly the don't fir my backside very well. I sit higher in them which in the Gen6 will all but eliminate the headroom for me.

Just guessing but with the brakes and Recaros alone that is about $6,000 in options. So adding the other content they may be trying to keep the price and weight down for the package.

Seems easy enough down the road to add it to the 2SS but a 2SS 1LE might crack 50k.

Look forward to some track comparisons in the future for sure. This seems enough on paper to be ahead of ATS-V and M4.

Which will mean some dealerships will ask for around $50K. In any case I see this going for around $45K - $50K just like the 2SS. So it'll come down to whether you want all the options or more performance.
What are you talking about? If I wanted a 1SS, you can easily get one under MSRP. Easy. You are either an easy mark for a dealership or being naīve about the deals you can get.
