1SS 1LE v. 2SS 1LE

I can't seem to find the differences between the 1SS and 2SS 1LEs other than the parking assist and side mirror warning. Can someone help?

I laughed at this, and immediately realized I am no where near as mature as I thought I was.

Thanks for the list! Heated steering wheel is such a great touch! Well done GM!

Yeah I love mine and use it every day in the winter. It heats up really fast.

Got mine for about 48K w/ sunroof and a few more options, anyone can do this through Costco.

Where did you see that the weight is different? Are you assuming they will be?

Why I think the weight on a 1SS 1LE vs 2SS 1LE are almost identical: since the 1SS 1LE has almost all the same add ons just no access to use them.

Example: They both (1SS 1LE and 2SS 1LE) already have the Recaro Seats with Heating and Cooling function just no access to use the Heated/Cooled fan on the 1SS 1LE vehicles. So the hardware is already installed but no software/buttons to access the functions. The weight is already added on a 1SS 1LE.

Both have:
ELSD
MRC
NPP
6Pos Brembo
Recaro Seats with Heated/Cooled Motors (1SS No access)
Heated Steering Wheel (1SS No access)
HUD

If there is a difference, I do not think it would be more than 15-20lbs. (Me assuming).
Happy to be proven wrong, I just have not seen any objective data on this.

Base M6 1SS vs Fully Loaded 2SS A8 is only ~111lbs
(most of it is because of the transmission difference not added accessories)

Let me know where you saw the weight difference.
Very interested to see a direct comparison.

I think the weight difference is around 8 lbs (most likely from the Bose amp). I saw it in an order guide.

Only weight difference would come from the optional sunroof on the 2ss. Which is more weight in the wrong place.

(plus several lbs. for the bose system)
