Since day 1. Just figured it was supposed to make that noise until I read about it on here. Sounds like someone shaking a can of marbles. 1600 miles currently.

Had a pretty cool morning the other day and I think I heard it again. Will have to see when it gets cooler out if it was that or something else.

mine too...

i think the rattle could be tricking the knock sensors and its pulling timing.

epoxy. i wasn't able to clean and scratch up the area as well as i wanted

2016 SS
I got the rattle at around 200 miles.
First repair around 1500, came right back
They ordered a new exhaust system a week later
Interestingly enough, now I have the check engine light on. According to OnStar its code P2097, which is the catalytic converter.

Might be unrelated, but sucks that a new car with less than 3000 miles on it is at the dealership 3 times in 3 weeks.

I don't have it. Keep it in sport mode all the time, 1050 miles so far.

So I bought about a month ago and got the rattle at about 60 miles. Talked to the service manager who said he heard it as soon as I drove up. He said that it was the Actuator in the exhaust that is loose? he ordered me a whole new NPP set up. He said it was a common issue with some of the Vettes they sold? not sure on any of this, just what he said.

Ok mine definitely has this. Just the rattling, no squeaking or chirping. What is the fix? Is there a service bulletin from GM?

Got my car back after the full exhaust replacement. Sounds great, just like it should. The dealer kind of dismissed the check engine light. Since it was somewhat related to the exhaust anyway, I let it go. With only 3,000 miles, everything is covered anyway

. Hopefully this finally did the trick and I'll have many more miles without that annoying rattle.
