Taking a moment to reiterate fitments for everyone so it's clear.
Applicable AWE configurations for manual and automatic ZL1 coupes: catbacks and axlebacks. Applicable AWE configurations for manual SS coupes: catbacks and axlebacks. Applicable AWE configurations for automatic SS coupes: axleback (due to the AFM valves. Yes, the catbacks will fit, but we do not recommend installing them due to the ECU and it necessity of having communication with the valves. Yes, we know they can be programmed ) Applicable AWE configurations for all convertible models (SS/ZL1): axlebacks only at this time (due to the additional structural elements included in the convertible's undercarriage.) |

So if I am going to tune my car anyway and don't care about the AFM will one of these fit my 2016 SS A8?

By adding the tune and/or whatever method used to achieve the programming necessary to make the ECU happy from the AMF valve stand point, you are on your own -- i.e. buyer beware. By doing this, it voids our No CEL Guarantee, and 30-day satisfaction guarantee. What will remain intact is the warranty against manufacturer's defect. Make sense? |

I still have some drone from the FlowMaster and I have the dual exhaust so no NPP, I first got the Legato axle back and that system had a terrible drone, plus hearing it from these videos I like the way AWE makes the car sound way much better.
