Looks like crap IMHO...wouldn’t buy a GM truck anyway, so kind of a mute point.

I hate the look of the Colorado and Silverado trucks nowadays. This thing looks like it is a drugged out bug creature.

I don’t like the SS placement either so I had to move it.

Well I had the grille badge in mind, not this one, but you definitely qualify as one of those select few

Yeah that bothers me too but I can remove mine because it’s the Sema grill and has a flat plate behind the badge. That plate would bother me more if I removed the SS so it’s staying put! Lol

At least on the standard grille, that flat plate ("nameplate adapter" with a "nameplate backing plate") is cleanly removable, it simply unclips and leaves no trace, see parts #9 and #10 here: https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/v-2018...and-components.

Check that SEMA grille, maybe it uses the same attachment. To pop it off, the front part ("adapter") is a U shaped piece of plastic lying on its side, and the "backing plate" snaps into grooves shaped from the ends of the U.

The only question is what mental disease causes people to not mind if a logo isn’t centered and symmetrical.
